College Football Playoff

Wes Gentry became the third member of the College Football Playoff staff, joining Executive Director Bill Hancock in March 2013. A native of Oklahoma, Gentry received an undergraduate degree in geography from the University of Oklahoma. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, as well as a graduate certificate in Christian studies from Denver Seminary. Most recently, he worked for the Denver Post. Gentry and his wife, Becky, have three children, Jackson, Hollis and Sam.
