Leslie Van Dyke joined the College Football Playoff staff in May 2023 as its Assistant Director of Stadium and Game Operations. With over 13 years’ experience in athletics – including almost a decade at the intercollegiate level – Van Dyke will help manage all aspects of game operations around the national championship game. She came to the CFP after working as the Senior Director of Event Management at Purdue University since 2021.
Van Dyke began her career in event operations at her alma mater, Iowa, before becoming Director of Events and Operations at Illinois State. She then spent four years helping create and manage two startup companies in the youth and sports complex industry in Bettendorf, Iowa and St. Louis, Missouri, before returning to collegiate athletics at Purdue.
Van Dyke is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa and a two-time graduate of the University of Iowa, collecting a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and a master’s degree in Sport Management. She is also a member of CEFMA and Women Leaders in College Sports.
