Dave Marmion was named Chief Financial Officer in June 2017 and added the title of Chief Revenue Officer in June 2022. Prior to joining the College Football Playoff, Marmion spent five years at the University of Texas at Austin, where he served as Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Financial Officer. Before his time at Texas, he spent 11 years at Wake Forest University, including six years as the Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Administration. In addition, he previously worked at Florida State University and for Deloitte in Atlanta, where he was an auditor for a variety of clients, including the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. Marmion, a Certified Public Accountant, is a former president of the College Athletic Business Managers Association (CABMA). He has participated in management for several NCAA baseball, softball and soccer events, and was involved in football game-day operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wake Forest and a master’s degree in sports administration from Florida State. Marmion and his wife, Allyson, have two sons, Zach and Owen.
